HygienX Process (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides analysis and consulting services for hygienic and aseptic process systems. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We can be reached at

What we collect
We only collect what you provide or what is technically necessary to run the site. If you use the contact form, we receive the details you submit — typically your name, email address, and any phone, company, subject and message content you choose to include. Our hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information such as IP address and browser type in server logs for security and reliability. We also store your cookie-consent choice (see the Cookie Policy below).
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use contact-form data solely to respond to your inquiry and to carry on the resulting correspondence. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to a request you have made to us; where our exchange leads toward an engagement, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request prior to a contract. We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — for example website hosting and email delivery — under agreements that limit their use of it to providing those services, and with authorities where we are legally required to do so.
Retention
We keep inquiry correspondence only as long as needed to address your request and for a reasonable period afterward for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
International transfers
HygienX Process is based in the United States. If you contact us from the European Economic Area or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards recognized by the GDPR (for example Standard Contractual Clauses). See the GDPR section below for the rights that apply to you.
Cookie Policy
This site is designed to run on as little as possible. No non-essential cookies or similar technologies are loaded before you give consent.
Categories
Strictly necessary storage is required for the site to function — for example, remembering your cookie-consent choice and submitting the contact form. It is always active and cannot be switched off. Analytics would help us understand anonymous usage to improve the site; no analytics tools are active at present, and this category stays off unless you enable it. Marketing enables embedded third-party content, such as an interactive location map, and is off by default.
Your control
On your first visit you are asked to Accept All, Reject All, or Customize by category. Your decision is stored and honored on future visits, and if our policy version changes you will be asked again. You can change your choice at any time using the
control, available in the site footer.
GDPR & your rights (EU/EEA)
Because many of the manufacturers we work with are based in the European Union, we take the GDPR seriously for every EU/EEA visitor. For the personal data described in this policy, HygienX Process acts as the data controller and can be contacted at

Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data erased; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
